On April 4, 2019, the State Administration of Market Supervision and the National Standardization Administration approved and issued 21 national standards such as “light distribution performance of motor vehicles during daytime running lights”, among which there are 4 relevant standards in the lighting industry, as follows:
GB 5920 specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for the light distribution performance of the front position lights, rear position lights, position lights and brake lights of automobiles and trailers.
GB 23255 specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for the light distribution performance of the running lights of motor vehicles. It is applicable to all types of daytime running lights used in L, M and N vehicles.
GB 30255 specifies the energy efficiency rating, energy efficiency limit value and test method of LED downlight for indoor lighting, directional integrated LED lamp, non-directional self-ballasted LED lamp.
GB 37478 specifies the energy efficiency limit value, energy efficiency rating and test method for LED lamps for road and tunnel lighting. It is applicable to LED lamps for road and tunnel lighting with rated voltage of AC 220 V and frequency 50 Hz (including LED light source and its control device). Excludes individually connectable interconnect controls or other lighting-independent feature accessories).
